What I would hope to see is a facility whereby phylogenetic changes could occur gradually in a population made up of mutable genotypes (mutable data), not just abruptly due to unrealistic biases the modeler may be nudged into using purely for implementation convenience. (The latter is what Swarm has now with its `phases'.)
