No - a while ago, Rob was very active in developing Tcc. He was making many
improvements to get TCC in a better shape, and to make it do what he wanted it
to do for his purpose. When some people asked for changes/feature which Rob
didn't need or want to make, he said so.
Some people took offence at his stance or way of expressing himself, and
someone
asked him to leave this list, which he did.
He now maintains his own fork, so his improvements are not lost, and he
continues to work on that.
The above is ment to be as objective as possible. Personally, I think it's a
shame that this hostility exists, and think it's counterproductive. He comes
back to help, and _still_ isn't apperciated. I, for one, _do_ apperciate his
efforts.
Also, I think that since this is the only place to ask questions about tcc,
this
is the perfect spot for Mike's question. Where else should he go but here? Of
course, there's no guarantee that someone will answer, but just sometimes,
someone might just have had the exact same problem, so why not ask? If you
don't
want to answer, don't :)
Not ment to start (another) flamewar, sorry if this was throwing oil on the
fire.
Cheers,
Laurens
