Hola:

What I was thinking of was "Software como Servicio, es decir, Software
como Ser Vicio". That is what I say in my talks. Making the joke about
"Software como Servicio" is more funny in speech, because people will have
heard that phrase before.

However, "ser vicio sustitutivo del software" might work well in the
article, after people have first read "servicio sustitutivo del
software".

But don't _replace_ the serious phrase "servicio sustitutivo del
software" with the joke phrase "ser vicio sustitutivo del software".
The point is to _add_ the joke after the serious phrase.
Both are needed; people will laugh at the joke
if they have seen the serious phrase. (They will NOT have seen
it before.)

Do you see, now?

Perhaps the joke phrase should be a footnote, or in parentheses.
Add a few additional words to make it clear that the joke phrase
restates the serious one.

So perhaps replace

  servicio sustitutivo del software

with

How about looking at various ways to do it, to find one that is clear
and funny?
