Thinking about it, maybe you could get started by making a map
character, Nathan. I'm in great need for one (even though I've ripped
Ch**no Tr***er's one, but I like when we have our own art! ;)) The
restrictions on dimensions:

-An average human is something like 70-80 pixels height,
-The transparent color (that is, the one that won't be displayed) is the
extreme pink one (255, 0, 255 triplet)
-Save your files as true color, non-destructive format, like pnm, png or
tiff.

A map character has two basic mandatory actions: standing and walking.
They must be represented in the four directions.

This would be a good start, I think. Don't hesitate to "release early,
release often". That is, don't hesitate to put the beginning of your
work somewhere on the web so we can have a look at it and comment it.
That way, if something is wrong, you'll know it immediatly and won't
have wasted your time. This is also our policy to extensively comment
each other's work.

Is it ok for you, Nath?

Btw, Ben: how is your skeleton character coming?
Alex.
