Well, I come from the Mac way-back-when, so I'm not OK with it <grumble> :-)
Seriously though, I looked at the HIG doc that Philip pointed at and I don't
agree with it in some places. [This could be why I don't, in general, like
the feel of Gnome apps...].
Anyway, I don't want to rant [and UI is one place I tend to]....
