apparently maya has been released for free download with "almost everyfeature of the full commercial version of maya complete". i guess idon't know much about 3d modeling tools, so i don't know if this isbetter than blender or anything, or even if it has similarcapabilities. just wanted to make sure our graphics artist saw this.
