here's my first drafts of what Furgason's time machine
might look like, both the completed device and the
cruder prototype he starts out with which is only
capable of going forward.  I'm thinking a bit bigger
than a Star Trek tricorder, somewhere between the size
of a speak-and-spell and a VHS tape.  Handheld anyway,
so he can drop/lose it during a rough re-entry to the
past (that leads to him meeting Mucka, as we currently
have it "written").

Any extra homage-ish bits I need to incorporate?  I've
got the numeric pad from back to the future in there,
and the finished model has a flip-up screen like a
newer game boy, etc.  And of course the prototype's
got the tesla coil.  What mad genius invention would
be complete without that?  :^)
