I'm quite confident, that no one has done so yet. But many failed at
compiling fluidsynth in the first place.

Well, they would be easy to add to fluid~.

Yes, this would be *very* desirable, so that patches can be exchanged
(at least one way: Max => Pd) more easily. The syntax of my fluid~
should be clear from looking at the screenshot - or just install Pd. 

BTW, Peter: You have heard fluid~ in action in my Pd talk at the LAD
conference in Karlsruhe last year. ;)

I didn't find the time yet to look at Norbert's code (will probably do
so over the weekend), but the approach of fluid~ is, to use
libfluidsynth just like any other ordinary library. flext makes the
code very readable, at least in my taste ;)
