You should give yourself more credit instead of assigning copyright to gNewSense. :) Besides, gNewSense is not a legal entity, so I think any lawyer looking over our shoulder would feel more at ease if you just put your name in the copyright line. All copyright on gNS artwork and code so far is owned by people, as far as I know.

I thought it was a non-profit organization :)

I changed copyright info, renamed the package to "Galaxia" (Galaxy in Spanish) and put everything in a mercurial repository:

I'm going to test this theme again. It's been a long time since I did this. Is there an easy way to use Parkes right now or should I test it on Debian?
