When I first power up the pi the tryton server is running but is being run by
'tryton'. If I try the tryton client on pi it appears to connect but fails to
connect from windows pc. If I then try to create a database using the pi it
fails; 'access denied: sorry, wrong password for the Tryton server. Please try
again.'

If I kill the server and restart it as gnuhealth I can't connect to it :(

      address@hidden:~ $ ps aux | grep tryton

      address@hidden:~ $ sudo /etc/init.d/tryton-server stop

The Know_hosts file contains:

       address@hidden:~ $ cat ~/.config/tryton/3.4/known_hosts

       localhost:8000
       demo3.4.tryton.org:8000

Yes indeed.
Did you check your ~/.config/tryton/3.6/known_hosts
in case your server IP is not registered for ssl.
