Contents Entry Format

Hi,

I've a question about modifying the contents entry 
format.  The default from the book file is shown below.

# @ContentsFormat     { number @DotSep title  } # 
contents entry format

I'd like to replace or add to @DotSep, as explained 
below.

In the Lout User's Guide, if one looks at the table of 
contents, you'll note that when the listing goes from, 
say, 1.9. to 1.10., the text entries move over.  For 
example:

1.9. Paragraph breaking
1.10. Line spacing

What I would like to get would be:

1.9.  Paragraph breaking
1.10. Line spacing

Is there a way to get things to line up like this?
