Which is the default wy50 terminfo entry provided with ncurses (or in
the central terminfo repository -- and BTW, is Eric S. Raymond still
maintaining that)?  I argue that the default should be the 1-attribute
no-cookies version.  Many curses programs cannot run right with cookies,
no matter how well curses does it.  Lynx *might* be a lucky exception
since highlighted entities are often separated from each other by
spaces, or are logically distinct in a manner that would reduce the harm
of magic cookie-induced spaces.

(This is mostly irrelevant to Lynx...)
