Hello

My name is Tomas Fasth and I'm a debian developer. I just became a
member of this list because of my intention to package and maintain
monotone for gnu/linux debian. Graydon Hoare, who have been
providing an unofficial package for debian unstable for a longer
while now, has given me his nod to use his package as a base in my
efford from now on to bring monotone into debian mainstream.

In debian the principle of sharing code (most often as libraries)
are very refined. In debian unstable, boost and sqlite for example
are maintained as separate packages, boost as version 1.31.0 and
sqlite as version 2.8.15. Graydon's debian package already use boost
as provided in debian unstable, but what about sqlite? Can you, my
fellow developers, see any forseeable problem if monotone is built
using the debian version of sqlite?

Regards,
