You aren't the first, and aren't going to be the last, I'm sure.  I've
the same problem myself with one database.

I don't know, but it might be possible to do with two 'db rebuild'
where you use a nonsense keyid in the first one and the key you want
to end up with in the second, with creative removal of keys in
between.  I dunno, it's just a thought that came to my mind right now,
and I have definitely not tested it, so you're on your own for now.
