Sorry for responding to this so late, but I wanted to mention that I've 
been using 0.13.4 under Mac OS X 10.3 on a casual basis, and I haven't 
noticed any problems with it.

The only issue I had was this one:

Note that I haven't done any rigorous testing, such as backing up 
resource forks, but I would guess that it otherwise works quite well on 
Mac OS X.

P.S. You can get rdiff-backup from Fink, by the way. Very handy.
