The macro was removed because it did not contain any instructions,
synopsis, or whatever. I had just the raw m4 source code in CVS.
Assuming that you have a complete version, feel free to add it again.


oops. There is only a one-liner of `instructions` in the code that
does not follow the dnl-layout that would be properly used:

I'll fix that - the patch_libtool-macros are used wiiiiiiidely
and shouldn't be dropped. btw, I wonder if it is okay to have
such macros without an AX prefix - they must be put into the
configure.ac _after_ everything else is finished. Hmmm,
