Well I've already replied to Karl wondering if it was really me.
So it seems it is!
By the way, no /textinfo3-1.0/_build/t in my
/home/yvon/a-installer/automake-1.8.4/tests/testSubDir
and I'm pretty sure not to have run any make clean or equivalent.
I will asap rerun one of the test and try to grasp the log.
