Would it be worthwhile to try to apply for a patent for AIS? AIS seems obvious -- as does Pupura's invention, but only after designing something else that does the same thing. The verbiage about what exactly "single sign on" is is very good and worth looking at. I'm not sure how to get a shorter URL out of a patent office search though
