I think the consensus is that we will offer an
archetecture that will allow 3rd parties to implemnt
their own services the way that they want to as long
as they conform to the DotGNU standard for URIs and
other such protocols, which will not be a problem
since they would be writing their programs to our
framework. but I don't think that it should preclude
us from offering some software that comes with the
system so a company can get up and running right away
and then build thier own programs to replace the
"stock" DotGNU ones.
