You mean Free Software is Open Source, but the two are not entirely the same
thing as Free Software is a kind of Open Source.

Yes--this is a good point.  The movement's have the one critical difference
in philosophy that Free Software's movement feels that nonfree software is
immoral.  Or, as RMS once put it, they're "assholes" for not letting us use
and modify the software for what we need it for.

I often wondered why use the term, "Free Software" when one could just as
well use a non-ambiguous term but the ambiguity entices the masses
interested in saving money.... I suppose this was/is the purpose.
