You could try using the Tahoe-LAFS backend. Tahoe-LAFS uses erasure-coding to
add redundancy. Erasure-coding is like RAID, but can add more than just 1 disk
(RAID-5) or 2 disks (RAID-6) redundancy. So I guess erasure-coding is like
"RAID-N" where you get to choose your N.
