Hi Luigi,

Lets try to sort it out.

What I would need is a build with debug info. In order to do that, you should 
checkout the latest version of the MAINTENANCE_0_6_ALPHA branch (you can just 
do a "cvs update" in the directory where you have checkouted Freecycle few 
days ago..)

Then you should edit src/src.pro and replace (at the line 196)

CONFIG += release

with

CONFIG += debug

Then, you should execute:

export PATH=/usr/lib/qt3/bin/:$PATH  (or wherever your qt3 executables are)
export QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt3/
make clean
rm Makefile
rm src/Makefile
qmake
make

By doing that you should have a Freecycle binary with all the debug 
information. Then you can run Freecyle with gdb and send me the output when 
it segfaults.

Hopefully, there will be more information in the backtrace.

NB: when Freecycle segfaults, the backtrace is queryed with "bt" command in 
the debugger.

Dou you think that you could do that?
