I found that GNUGO did find D1320b for O14. However this move was discarded 
because the neighboring dragon (O15) is not strong enough (only one eye was 
seen ;) ). As I had suspected, it seems that the pattern needs to be revised 
instead of adding more patterns. 

I think 'strong dragon' may not have clearly two eyes, especially it's hard for 
GNUGO to find where these two eyes are. Even if it has only one eye, and the 
dragon under attack has one eye, it's crucial to connect two dragons together. 
I would suggest to read the liberties as a measurement for 'strong'. Maybe 
liberties against number of stones.
