Not really. Table inheritance is quite well established. I
believe you are referring to type inheritance/complex
types/table types...

It *is* on the TODO, however. Judicious use isn't likely to
lead us into too much trouble (apart from non-portability).
However, the audit functionality would have to be ported
manually anyways.
