Nah, precisely of this it IS a good example of what I am
trying to ask:

- 3 shots are required to acquire lifelong HepB immunity
- usually they are given now, 4 weeks from now and 6 months from now

Now, what about a patient that had the first two shots but is
lacking the last one ?

If he comes in for the third shot after

- 1 year
  - I just give it and be done with that
- 5 years
  - I don't know whether just giving the 3rd shot will do
- 15 years
  - likely just giving the 3rd shot is not adequate

Of course, I could always draw blood samples but I am talking
about the concept. Is anything known on when to disregard
previous vaccinations ?

Or maybe I am getting this all wrong ?
