well, in the spirit of self-assigning coding tasks, it may also be useful to learn dtd , xslt, make a little tool to make dtd out of whatever the current gnumed schema is, and then write the xslt that transforms a gnumed xml document instance into a hl7 cda v3.0 instance, and hey, structured communication !?It may be useful to have a script which parses the CVS for the maintainer of a file. IOW look for the string $Author: Jane Doe $ in a *.py file. Maybe report/log to file if missing so it can be added. Good way to learn python. No Gnumed involved whatsoever. Can be reused by other projects as well.
