Looking good.
I am imagining that the bottom right holds the communication channels (phone
etc).
I notice the label "Category" is being used twice. I wonder whether the lower
one would better be called one of
Subcategory
Type
Kind
Class
One planning consideration maybe good to mention here is the importance of
filters. Presently, the inbox has some filters and the Waiting list has other
filters but both would benefit from some of each others' filters (for example,
Waiting list will not find for you the subset of existing waiting list items
which belong to the current patient).
So too here can I anticipate the importance of filters. I am thinking that each
of
Category
Organization
Organizational Unit
Address
Phone
might be good to be able to filter on.
Commonly I need to identify a lab or pharmacy to phone where the patient can
only tell me its street.
If I would be able to input a city or street name (ideally inside a category)
this would quickly help me to find what I want.
I know that screen real estate is always tight. I would think that just as with
the other plugins, filter fields feel most natural at the top. The ability to
filter would make it more acceptable to borrow a row of vertical space from
each of the upper and lower zones of the screen because filters would
significantly reduce the numbers of matches and cut down the need to scroll. I
don't imagine there would be more then 3 or 4 channels per unit. WIth two rows
of space, one could do a row of headings and a row of filter fields:
Category | Organization | Organizational Unit | Address |
Phone
