Thanks. It works much better now. We'll take care on (compatibility)
header inclusion later. What could be done is to #include "config.h" in
all .m files, this way we can put what we need for OSX in config.h.

Ok, done !

Now the compiler complains:

EOControl/EOFetchSpecification.m:34: header file 'config.h' not found

There is no config.h and configure doesn't work at all on OS X:

configure: error: You must run the GNUstep initialization script first!

(no "GNUstep initialization script" installed, of course ...)

Could it be possible to change the way rcsids are defined in files?

Done.

Now, the warning morphed to an error:

EOControl/EOFetchSpecification.m:36: illegal function prototype, found `$Id: EOFetchSpecification.m,v 1.4 2002/12/31 16:25:10 mirko Exp $'

(for example)

How is it expected to work? Again, "configure" refuses to do something. Why aren't there just two comment slashes before rcsID[]?

Happy new Year,
Markus
