Sadly I have found that no quarantee.  After all, RasPi wzs selling 2A
power supplies for a while before they found out that 2A was inadequate.

Also, do not forget the importance of 20AWG USB cables.  Even a 1 foot
20AWG (standard) USB cable is dangerously close to under-voltage at 2A.
