With no args, no gpsd running:

So the new version is still broken in the absence of fixes.

I also noticed a subtle difference in the <trkseg></trkseg> structure 
between local and external gpsds, but it's not a difference between 3.22 
and 3.23~rc2, so not something to worry about now.
