Usually more, but we are in a pre-release "quiet" period..

A release is pretty soon, so sooner rather than later.  I'll not hold
up a release on this.

Yup.  If you have 831, you already did it, just "git pull" and rebuild.

Unfortunately when I checked I realised that the RPi with the GIT 831 
version isn't the one with the raw-capable GPS, so it would involve some 
hardware changes to make that test.  Perhaps with the raw I sent we can make 
some progress?  Making the hardware change can be done if necessary.
