You seem intent on using systemd(umpkopf).  I don't use it, do
not touch it.  Someone else will have to help with that.

Friends don't let freinds sudo.

gpsd provides a sample gpsd.service, not installed by default.
Maybe that will help, but as I keep saying, systemd(oodle) is
not my thing.

On a non-systemd(roopy) system the udev rules can auto-detect that.
But that does not help you.

Maybe some systemd(rowning) user can help.
