Thanks for the heads-up, this is now fixed.

It turned out to be due to a stale
/var/cache/guix/web/packages.json.lock file, which would prevent
hpcguix-web from updating its ‘package.json’ file, which in turn would
lead to the error above.

I’ll update the activation snippet of hpcguix-web to remove that lock
file.
