Yes, but the drawing code only uses that in the gl code. In the AWT code, it uses getExtRect (AFAIK) and computes a point in that box.

So again, scaling would not help-- *placing the connection in the box coordinate system* would. But that's not trivial because of the way the view code works.

Hmm. Probably we should make it work that way.
