I am not familiar with legal aspect of this issue in different countries 
But as per my understanding, such events are public and not private. If 
one appears to be in a public event, then recording of the event 
shouldn't be any issue. If you are worried about chats and name, I would 
propose hiding those sections which is easy both at the time of 
recording and also editing.

Let's find some way to resolve this issue. At least, we can just record 
and published the presentation part and not Q&A. Or we can publish Q&A 
except the part the person who ask question demands to be off record. I 
am sure we can find some way.
