Disagree. Here are a few counterexamples:
DeleteLinesStarting "foo="
AppendIfNoSuchLine "# The reason for setting foo to bar is ..."
AppendIfNoSuchLine "foo=bar"
PrependIfNoSuchLine "# Edited by cfengine"
AutoCreate
EmptyEntireFilePlease
InsertFile "file.header"
InsertFile "file.${fqhost}"
InsertFile "file.footer"
However, more than the rest of cfengine, editfiles allows you to shoot
yourself in the foot. What we need is a cfengine 2 editfiles style
guide.
