Just wait until you suspend Emacs by accident (happened to me
many times because of that keystroke's position on the
keyboard) and realize you don't have job control and have to
kill it.

Or wait until you realize you can have many parallel terminal
emulator windows (or panes), bare or with tmux, and you can
have one dedicated for Emacs and everything else you can do
either from that Emacs instance or from some of the other
resources available.

Or wait until you realize ... life is now or never.
