I don't know what script you're referring to, I haven't posted my script yet.

I think ghostscript is the bottleneck.
running the script on Win7, 4.0.0. MXE build I do get the following top items in the profiler summary:
# Function Attr Time (s) Time (%) Calls
------------------------------------------------------------
109 __line__ 2.078 25.53 62
17 get 1.249 15.35 1055
29 set 0.974 11.97 184
112 cellfun 0.944 11.60 77
43 __go_axes__ 0.759 9.33 2
113 __go_line__ 0.401 4.93 62
117 legend 0.271 3.33 3
62 num2str 0.198 2.43 32
33 newplot 0.100 1.23 17
129 __go_text__ 0.083 1.02 33
93 __plt__ 0.081 1.00 16I notice that get took much more relative time on this run than it took in the examples posted in that original thread.nickjsubsequent calls to the script have get down at 0.153 sec, so it must have just been the 'first time' slowdown.
