Do you mean people on GNU Social are more judgemental when it comes to
topics related to Free Software?

I was going to reply to your whole e-mail, but this part caught my
attention.  If I may, I would like to ask for you to expand on why you
are not sure that GNU Social can do a lot of good for the "wider world"
(I quoted this expression because I am not sure of how abrangent "wider"
is).

I hope you don't take me wrong, but this phrase, coming from someone who
is listed as one of the maintainers of the project, can be interpreted
as something not very good.
