Yes, the Free Software movement and (Worker) Cooperatives should definitely 
join up!

One prominent area that I can think of is the Payment System (like GNU Taler).

It would be a wonderful exercise of global people power if can all get together 
and create the People's replacement of Credit Cards and others dominated by the 
Capitalists!😄
