There's no runtime setting to control whether lynx tells the host it
can accept gzip'd pages.  (Not every feature in the code has a config

What is the answer, then? What is necessary in order for me to view gzipped pages with rendering intact? Why does Lynx have a problem with this? Is it just that no one ever noticed?
