i tried this too, my best results where maxcon. 200 from:
http://www.speedsuite.net/speedsuite/TestSuite/TestController.asp? (220)
but sometimes i have:
Jan 29 21:00:24 server pppd[29440]: No response to 3 echo-requests
Jan 29 21:00:24 server pppd[29440]: Serial link appears to be disconnected.
Jan 29 21:00:25 server pppd[29440]: Connection terminated.
Jan 29 21:00:25 server pppoe[29452]: Session 4749 terminated -- received
PADT from peer
Jan 29 21:00:25 server pppoe[29452]: Sent PADT
Jan 29 21:00:25 server pppd[29440]: Connect time 364.2 minutes.
Jan 29 21:00:25 server pppd[29440]: Sent 182118221 bytes, received 437888273
bytes.
Jan 29 21:00:25 server pppd[29440]: tcflush failed: Input/output error
i think /etc/ppp/options dont work? i set in options:
lcp-echo-interval 10
lcp-echo-failure 10
...so i want 'No response to 10 echo-requests' or i am wrong?
when my maxcon is to low (50 or 100) my 'sources' are very very bad.
when i am over 200 mld runs at ~60 kB/s. but this shitty disconnections.
