I have downloaded the source tar ball for 0.43 and compiled

with debug enabled. After rebbting the system hang at some

reference of creating /tmp/X11.unix.



After booting off a differnet medium I found the following

I hope "_nss_mysql_group_result_to_struct: mysql_fetch_row

failed." gives some ideas of what may be wrong.



Oh, we do have groups called students, faculty, guest but we

do not have a group called x.

That's me out the loop for a while then, I'm unable to

reboot, as I'm working in a chroot, and   I can't afford to

take the server down quite yet.   Unless I can get UML

working.  I'll try on a differnt machine with identical

setup soon, and let you know.
