Hmm thats not what happened when I tried it, honest guv :)

I think you're assuming Im adding my DTML Method inside the Localizer 
object. I apologize, I didnt say this in the first place, but this isnt 
what Im doing :(

I have a CMF like application that has many objects in folder a 
heirarchy already and Localizer is one of several tools in the root of 
my instance. In my case the DTML-method is outside of the Localizer 
object. I thought Localizer worked in a similar manner to ZBabel and 
TranslationService. Unfortunately its not much point to me if I have to 
put all my content inside Localizer...

But there are a few ways to get around this including hacking 
GettextTag.py :)
