Follow-up Comment #15, bug #41298 (project octave):

IMHO, it would make the most sense to extract and install -tst files from src
files into the arch-dependent directory, alongside the corresponding .oct
files. This would mirror how Octave installs its own -tst files in
subdirectories like 'libinterp/corefcn' under 'etc/tests' to match the
original source file layout.
