Follow-up Comment #31:

ok, that does definitely cause an error when structs are included.  i backed
out the changeset and will look at modifying the approach.  I can probably
easily get it to avoid erroring when a struct is included.  getting it to
avoid this bug with a struct included (i did verify fields in a struct trigger
the same bug) may require extracting all of the fields from the struct in
`__patch__.m` and passing them in as regular arguments.
