Follow-up Comment #18, patch #9930 (project octave): Andreas, Thanks very much for all the testing. As to the cap widths, I figured some sort of logarithmic scaling might be handy. Esp. on wide boxplots (say 2 or 3 on a lot) I found the caps ridiculously narrow but on graphs with many boxplots (~20 - 25) they looked just fine. Later today or tomorrow I'll check your latest version and if there are no issues I'll just push.
