Follow-up Comment #10, patch #9930 (project octave):

Just ignore the 2nd bullet in the last series of my suggestions in comment #7,
I saw that fill() is always called first already. So the jagged outline is
probably due to my monitor.

I see that the functions needs some overhaul anyway; I'll do that after your
version has been committed to the repo.
