nice work. I really like the extra "Colors" argument and its implementation
that allows grouping as well :)

I can't remember why exactly I added the outermost if statements concerning
the plot_opts, but something wasn't working properly in one of my tests and I
ended up with that solution.

I will test it extensively during next week with all my code for creating
boxplot figures from my data and I will report back.
