Thanks very much Andreas, I'll review it within the next days.

Without looking at the code now I think I spotted probably the same issues as
you did but I didn't want to spoil your party :-)

What I'll do next:
* After a cursory review (just check that it works), push it to the repo. That
way your contribution is clear.
* Only then I'll do a more thorough review and push my changes, if any at
all.
I don't need mention in the copyright per se, thanks, next generations to come
will know I worked on boxplot.m because of the memory of Sourceforge's CVS
system :-) That'll do for me.
